Reviews
Solid Film, 2 October 2009

Author: Brian Marzullo from United States
I really enjoyed the 36 minute short film. It was unique and really funny. Benjamin Newman was great as Harold with all his antics. Kory Weimer was OK as Jerry but it felt too much like the character was Kory Weimer. Maybe that is just because I know Kory from high school. The script was very good with a solid and humorous story. The film is shot very gritty which is mostly likely because it is a small film but it really adds something to film and gives it a certain mood. The use of sounds was fantastic and so was the editing. Having the sirens in the back ground worked well create the mood that zombies had taken over the city. The only issue with the film is that we did not get to see how Jerry and Harold became zombies. The ending was very poetic and ironic which really made the film. This film took all my preconceived notions about small budget films and tossed them out the window. This film was well worth the 36 minutes and considering the crap on TV these days, watching this would be a better use of time
Very funny zombie flick!, 2 June 2009

I caught the premiere of this in Eugene and was thoroughly impressed! The writing was very funny as well as the actors. Benjamin Newman was particularly funny as Howard. I'm not sure if this was improvised or written but the jokes feel well thought out.
It is a low budget, shot on video flick which some people would frown upon but I find it refreshing that some filmmakers are out there creating original content for very little money instead of trying to recycle Hollywood garbage.
I think there's a DVD out there somewhere, it's worth your while to find it!
